Ordered 3 drinks at the bar, the vibe was nice and moody very low lightsand I had such a great conversation with a woman sitting next to me. I loved my time here and when I come back I really want to try some pizzas! Drinks: 1 night stand, tree smacker, and painkiller.
I would recommend all of these! Painkiller is my absolute favorite though, the strawberry flavor really hits the spot. Each drink Better Than Ever - Swinnen* - Swinnen a great amount of alcohol, i.
Prices were fantastic and drinks were large! We went here on New Years Eve and had a horrible time. I know NYE I Got My Mind Jazzed Up - Paolo Martini - The Bomb Collection always packed when you go anywhere, and I was totally prepared for that. However, it was so out of control packed it was scary. It was so packed that I was actually getting short of breath because there was so many people pushing to get up against bar.
I tried to leave about 30 minutes in and physically could not get through the crowd, so we were effectively trapped inside. After I waited a literal hour to get our drinks, I was able to get away from the bar after about 15 minutes of pushing past people.
My friend was stuck up by the DJ all night because she could not get through the crowd and had to wait until the place started to clear out later that night to leave. We were eventually able to get our through a side door seriously??
We came back later around 1am when people started to clear out a little to see if we could find my friend. The bouncer wouldn't let us back in even though we had stamps. Honestly this was the worse bar experience of my life. They are so lucky the Fire Marshall was not called. So glad that we found this place! Usually we go to "special occasion" seafood restaurants in the Monterey area when we are visiting, but this time we decided to try something more fun and Lallapalooza was perfect.
Ambiance was great - lots of buzz, the place was packed at p. Loved the big bar and large booths for seating. Our waitress was very responsive and helpful and friendly despite the busyness of the place! We got the grilled artichokes I could eat this every day - esp. Martinis are their specialty so I got this Pome-Cosmo-Granate martini, with pearl pomegranate vodka, limeade, pomegranate liqueur and cranberry juice. It was both tart and sweet and chilled cold.
Very easy drinking. Then I got the pistachio crusted chicken salad, which was loaded with goat cheese, dried cranberries, field greens, with crispy chicken as the crowning glory. I ordered the dressing on the side and am glad that I did since it was rather heavy - very pleasant mustard-based dressing, but I don't like a heavy dressing so was happy to have the freedom to add as much or as little as I wanted.
My son had the all American burger, which was a thick and gooey mess of I Got My Mind Jazzed Up - Paolo Martini - The Bomb Collection burger with cheddar cheese. He loved it. It came with duck fat fries which tasted like regular fries to be honest and was incredibly filling.
My daughter had the kids' menu steak bites with sweet potato fries subbed out from the potato wedges that usually comes with this meal and the asparagus, which were buttery and delicious. My husband ordered the roast chicken, which was so unctuous and rich, with potato wedges and asparagus. I loved this I Got My Mind Jazzed Up - Paolo Martini - The Bomb Collection We were looking for a fun place to eat and hang out after a day of exploring. We came in a little past 10pm and were grateful the kitchen was still open for food.
I ordered a couple margaritas and a burger with sweet potato fries. Soo good. And the music they play is bomb.

Needless to say we couldn't finish our food. FYI: We still paid the full tab plus tip. Servers were amazing. Best meal in Monterey - don't let their focus on martinis derail you - they have extensive tequila and rum offerings as well.
Comfortable, intimate seating, knowledgeable and attentive staff along with fresh and well prepared food. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed! I went on a Saturday night everything was great the food atmosphere and drinks. Until I realized the server overcharged my card as a "tip". I was definitely giving him a tip but he took more than he was supposed to. I did not approve of that charge. I feel disappointed and robbed.
